TRIBUTE TO MY MOST LOYAL BUDDY
Overcome with sadness and tears that just won't stop even as I try to express my appreciation of my loyal companion of 10 years. There is no way to express the sorrow of losing a loyal pet. Boots definitely became a member of my family very much like a child. He was a lost dog when he found me...literally found me. The bond between us was even more special because he chose me. We became inseparable...he went to work with me, he took trips with me..he went to the store with me when it wasn't too hot to leave him in the car...he went boating with me...well, we just did everything together.
He loved people, especially children! And was in general a friendly, loving dog with a wagging tail that never ceased. It wagged so much, in fact, that I became afraid that it would fly right off his rear end! It served as a great coffee table duster and would clear almost anything off the table with a single pass! And did I mention the kisses...well he loved to give them...especially to toddlers and me!
There is so much more to say...but I just can't right now....December 2, 2005 was a very sad day for me...and it hurts so badly to have said goodbye to the friend and buddy that brought so much happiness and comfort into my life just at the time when I needed it the most. I am so thankful that we were able to share the past 10 years....Mr. Boots Smith...I salute you and thank you for being my friend!
